In this month, Green!Eyes have been together making music for 6 long years.
There was so many bitter-sweet memories in the past 6 years, and a lot came from the drummers.

We’d like to show some gratitude to all the great great drummers dominating our past 6 years: 小PA and 柚子 for sure, you’ve brought so much stuff to the band’s music and it’s always wonderful to see you drumming (and drunk probably.)
Also to Mr. 阿鼓, 湯宗勳, and 尊龍. I have to admit my eyes came green having to see you drumming for other talents. Thanks for your energy, time, and wisdom. You drummers rules (so as the bass player )

Anyways, thank you guys for being the faithful (or unfaithful whatsoever) audiences, it’s a great honor to have you around.
Be seeing you next year, don’t forget that we owe you another half of show.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who came last night! It was incredible.
Thank you for staying out this late, hopefully you enjoyed the show as we did.

My endless apology about the CD-R thing. Originally only 30 limited copies of the demo is produced, but we’re sorry that we couldn’t come up with an proper idea of distribute this limited number justly.
We really really really feel bad to see people come home empty handed, and once again my heartfelt thanks to you guys for not being mad at us. Sorry and sorrys that I let you down once again.

Now that we decide everyone who ordered tickets from us gets a free CD-R. we’ll contact you through your email, so please check your mail box during these 2 days.

For witchhouse audiences (those who are offered free ticket last night,) we don’t have your contact address besides your phone number, please kindly send in your home address so we can ship out your cds as soon as possible.

We’ll be ending our summer tour by playing the wall on July 30th with our long-time friend The Tic Tac and another new band called 『騎去哪.』

Greeneyes.tw has just put out fulltrack online stream of our 2006 release 『Draw A Smile Split EP.』
Please check it out on the jukebox located on this page.

This EP was mainly recorded in early 2005 and the first version was released in July which only on sale during our tour to Japan. Later we rerecorded and reproduced certain songs and released as a second version in February 2006.
It became really fun when listening back to these old materials and I hope you like them as well.

The-then-hidden-song 『Green Spider』 is right now unhidden on our stream box by the way

FYI, the original disk contains another 4 songs from an incredible great band called 『Smol,』 they were in hiatus since 2007, but the members remain making great music under the name 『Spree Day Venture.』 Please be sure to check them out. Sorry that due to the lack of authority, we can’t upload their tracks along with the EP just yet.

As a resident in Taiwan with an elected president who constantly live in his own imaged nation, I believe we suppose to be the ones who sorrowfully understand, deeply cherish, and endlessly pursue the right and justice of being independent.

I knew a person who just two days ago was right there in the city of Urumchi. Being the ones who witness the outbreak of the riots — Young girls being ripped on the throat; little orphans sobbing in the ghastly massacre, He told us that China right now is showing the world how brutal and mindless a 『government』 could ever be. And this is not ONLY happening today. The same scene was there maybe a few months ago, a year ago, a decade ago, a century ago ON THE SAME DESPERATE LAND.

We were unconcerned only because it’s not happening in our shoes, and only for this we can still happily abuse our credits without knowing we’re actually a part of this nightmare.
Our government’s right now pushing itself into this dirty-mouth jackal on the other side and it’s ridiculous how our media still remain capable of faking the truth and manipulate me and you.

So what’s the point to even bother joining this Free Tibet concerts?

In order to raise the awareness of this particular issue. Not only for people that we sympathized but for ourselves who has long been the surffered ones.
We’re right now on a big wheel which is almost impossible to stop but still we’re hoping you and of course ourselves to realize the importance of the roles that we can be. Then it’s the right time to really go out and do something.

在桃園龜山與台北鶯歌交界之處，有 112 名流亡來台的藏人，
他們來台至少都已經五年了，卻沒辦法領到身分證或居留証，
到今年為止才領到了臨時居留證，但還是沒有合法工作的權利，
沒有謀生能力的他們，只能群居在一起過著難民般的生活.
也許你曾在報紙的某個角落讀過他們的新聞，
但他們不只是報紙上的故事，而是真實的存在。

前些日子我到藏人在台福利協會會長–蔣卡的家裡拜訪時，
他對我講述了他們的故事：

他們與故鄉的其他圖博人一樣，
為了躲避中國共產黨的暴政，為了生命的存續與尊嚴，
從故鄉翻越喜馬拉雅山脈，前往西藏流亡政府所在地達蘭薩拉，
而該地雖為流亡政府的所在地，卻也是塊貧瘠之地，
許多與這 112 位圖博人一樣從故鄉逃離出來的同胞，
為了生活必須選擇再次前往世界各地，
有些人到了歐洲，有些人到了美國或加拿大，
而他們選擇了來台灣。

我們知道，過去有一段時間，中華民國內政部蒙藏委員會，
為了維持統治正當性與大中華一體共和的假象，
對於流亡來台藏人非常禮遇，
不僅快速核發身分證，也有各種補貼，
甚至主動招攬流亡藏人來台入籍，
在這樣的印象下，加上本身具有漢語基礎，
讓他們以及過去不少圖博人士選擇前來台灣；然而他們卻無法料及台灣政治局勢的變化，
當今執政的馬政府因為不想觸及中國的敏感神經，
而不願意盡快處理這 112 名在台藏人的身分問題，
在去年底陳雲林來台時，
蔣卡還被附近管區多名警察到他家中〝勸導〞，最好不要去機場抗議，
這件事情也上了報紙版面，
後來甚至被不知名人士以恐嚇罪狀控告他，
他們不只是流亡之民，更被當今政府視為麻煩因子。陳雲林來台之後的野草莓運動在自由廣場展開，
而他們也在自由廣場靜坐，
在靜坐之後以及受到立委田秋堇，陳節如，徐中雄等幫助下，
馬英久親自授意核發臨時居留證，並稱其為〝新年禮物〞，
同時承諾會盡速核發正式居留證，
理論上依照修正後的移民法規範，只需一個月就可取得正式居留證，
但至今已過了半年以上，正式居留證仍然不見蹤影，
蒙藏委員會對這個問題的答案永遠是：需要協調的單位太多，所以還在處理，
流亡藏人卻永遠無法詢問到申辦進度到哪裡。

沒有證件就不能工作，沒有收入，在台灣就不能有個正常的生活，
更慘的是，當初他們持尼泊爾或印度的假護照來台，
如今若要回到印度，則將會以持假護照的罪名，被判決死刑或終身囚禁，
如果返回尼泊爾，則將會被送回當初他們拼了命逃出來的中國統治之地，
因此他們想離開也不能離開，只能留在台灣當一個無家之子，無國之民；
過去多年來，他們只能以社會各界資助物資以及部份已工作圖博同胞的接濟，
過著大鍋飯的日子，醫療更是沒有保障，
當中的部份人還必須以公園為家，處境甚至比遊民更糟.
如今他們的物資即將再度耗盡，比身分問題更迫切的生存問題已迫在眉睫，
面對茫茫未知的落地生根之路，
他們決定如果會在公園的角落裡餓死，
不如到自由廣場去，在那邊餓死了，至少還有人看的見，
在公園裡死掉了，沒有人會知道。當一個流亡難民團體的領導人親口對我這麼說的時候，
圖博人的苦難不只在那遙遠的高原之土，
也活生生的在我眼前存在.
政治上的困境我們能出力的地方不多，
但作為物質生活相對充足的一般平民，
我們至少能幫助他們改善生活的現狀，
因此自由圖博音樂節當天，
我們除了要以搖滾樂聲援圖博人權，
同時也要替這 112 位流亡藏人募集物資，
讓他們在正式居留證核發下來之前，
能多過幾天溫飽的日子。

7/11，12 是自由圖博音樂節舉辦的日子，
請各位來自由廣場參加表演的觀眾們，除了在現場發揮你們的熱情，
也帶些能力可及且適合他們使用的物資來捐贈，
另外也歡迎各位攜帶各類零食飲料食物到現場與大家一同分享！這兩天活動的晚上，蔣卡也會準備一些傳統圖博小點心來義賣，
大家記得留出一點胃袋空間！

• 註：靜坐是他們上上周做的決定，
不過在 7 月 5 號慶祝達賴喇嘛 74 歲壽誕餐會時，
蔣卡告訴我，立委田秋堇勸他們先不要去靜坐，
再開一場記者會再說，因此他們暫時不會去自由廣場靜坐。他們也知道靜坐的效果不大，這是沒有辦法中的辦法，
能不必靜坐就能解決事情的話是最好不過，
而如果協會的流亡藏人確定要再次去靜坐，
我們將會在網站以及網路上告知大家一同前往聲援！
• 註 2：阿扁時代也曾經核發身分證給少數的流亡圖博人，
但終究沒有將他們全部的問題給解決。
• 註 3：蒙藏委員會對於他們群聚的行為感到不高興，
也反對他們再去靜坐，
認為這樣會讓外界以為蒙藏委員會虧待了他們，
但事實就是蒙藏委員會也沒有把居留證的問題給解決掉。
• 註4：我們也將在自由圖博音樂節活動之後，
盡力協助他們解決居住與醫療的問題，
如果有醫師願意在不違反法令前提下幫他們看診，
請與我們連絡！
